Columbia, S.C. – Farm Bureau Insurance honored Ty O’Farrell, an agent in the Beaufort County office, with their prestigious MAPS Award. The award was announced March 29 at the company’s annual statewide sales conference. O’Farrell was one of two agents throughout South Carolina to receive the 2023 MAPS Award, the company’s highest award of excellence.

The MAPS Award honors select agents who demonstrate a daily commitment to providing the highest level of customer service. Those recognized exemplify traits like trustworthiness, sincerity, and honesty.

“I would first like to thank every individual and family that has entrusted me with their many insurance needs the past 14 years,” O’Farrell said. “It is my pleasure and privilege to serve the residents of Beaufort County. Receiving this MAPS Award would not have been possible without the dedicated, hard-working team we have built in our Beaufort Office. Servicing your insurance needs is our top priority and I look forward to being your local agent for many more years to come!”

As a MAPS recipient, O’Farrell will serve on the 2023 Farm Bureau Insurance Vision Committee along with David Hix, an agent in Newberry County and MAPS recipient. The Vision Committee is a collaborative effort between Farm Bureau Insurance employees and agents working to enhance the company’s products and services.
