Columbia, S.C. – Farm Bureau Insurance honored Kelly Woods, an agent in the Lexington County office, with their prestigious MAPS award. The award was announced March 16, 2022 at the company’s annual statewide sales conference. Woods was one of two agents throughout South Carolina to receive the MAPS award, the company’s highest award of excellence.

The MAPS award honors select agents who demonstrate a daily commitment to providing the highest level of customer service. Those recognized exemplify traits like trustworthiness, sincerity and honesty.

“It is more than an award for me. What the MAPS award stands for is how I want to live my life, to be there to help anyone and everyone that I can. It doesn’t matter if you are my husband or someone stranded on the side of the road. If I can help, I will,” said Woods. “It takes time, consideration, and authentic desire to make everyone around you know they will be helped in a time of need. That is what the MAPS award means to me, and to be a recipient of this award shows that others know that whatever the case may be, they can trust in me to be there to help.”

Woods is a lifelong resident of Lexington County and began her career with Farm Bureau Insurance in 2015.
