To apply for insurance with our companies, you must become a member of the South Carolina Farm Bureau. As a membership organization, South Carolina Farm Bureau Federation provides numerous benefits to farmer and non-farmer members across the state. Our insurance companies consist of South Carolina Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company, Southern Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance Company, Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company, and Palmetto Casualty Insurance Company. South Carolina Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company is the largest domestic insurance company in South Carolina and the sixth largest overall with property and casualty sales exceeding $196 million on more than 316,000 policies in 2007. Our banking services are provided through Farm Bureau Bank.
